| What started as a
passionate dream for John and Erna Dry in 1998 has grown into a
successful ceramic studio, gallery and garagiste winery at the entrance of
the Hemel and Aarde vally, in Hermanus. City slickers opting for a
new lifestyle, moved from Pretoria to Hermanus. The fresh air, sea,
mountains, fynbos and cape wines did the rest. |

| Providing sustainable work for 14 local people
in a tranquil and stimulating environment has been the result of a
love for African animals, nature and a passion for art. The
combination of inspirational artist Erna and designer husband John
has molded a team with a flair for sculpture. Exquisite pieces of
art are hand made out of slabs rolled from clay made in our own
studio. The combination of oxides and glazes brings to life and
organic material providing a durable and individual product in
shades of earthy colours. |

| Continuous
improvement of existing as well as the development of additional new
designs keeps the art fresh and market related. Limiting the size of
the studio not to become a factory and maintaining a high standard
of quality and finish in design and material, assure the originality
of our product. |
